CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background
In
our reality, the life we experience is not always straight and easy to live.
Sometimes we face several problems in front of us or we are faced with a choice
that requires us to take a step or choice.
As
humans who have a social spirit, we cannot always solve our problems alone,
there are times when we need the help of others, and there are times when we
get the opportunity to help others.
In
short, we need each other, we also have to help each other, even if it's just a
small help like a suggestion or input, or maybe other small help like opening a
door for other people. A small help that might open up to other goodness.
Our
lesson today will have to do with the initial statements mentioned above, we
will learn about expressions for giving suggestions and offers. A phrase that
might help us to give help to others.
There
is a difference between Suggestion and Offer, Suggestion is used when we give
an idea, opinion, or advice to be considered for other people before that
person makes a decision.
While
an offer is an offer given to another person either in the form of assistance
or something else such as offering food or drink where the person we are
offering may accept or reject the offer.

CHAPTER II
DISCUSSION
2.1 Definition
Asking
and giving suggestion means giving and asking for advice/advice/input or other
ideas between one person and another. This can be implemented in real life
where humans as social beings will definitely need each other. At certain times
we can advise other people, while at other times we will definitely ask. While
an offer is an offer or offer of something. Offer in English can be used as a
verb (verb) and noun (noun). In offering something someone must also use the
right words and expressions so that other people will accept the offer we give
and even other people will not be offended by our good intentions. That is
actually the basic concept of suggestions and offers that can go hand in hand
with good suggestions/advice from one person to another, but for suggestions
and offers to be accepted, the words, sentences and expressions used must be
polite and gentle.
2.2 The difference
between suggestions and offers
Quoted
from the Cambridge Dictionary, suggest is to mention an idea, possible plan, or
action for other people to consider. Suggest is to mention an idea, possible
plan, or action for others to consider. Meanwhile, according to the Macmillan
Dictionary, an offer is to let someone know that you will give them something
if they want it.
Offer
is to tell someone that you will give them something if they want it.
Suggesting is usually expressed when we advise others, while offering is when
we offer help to others. In conclusion, the difference between suggesting and
offering is that when someone makes an offer, he involves himself in taking
action or assistance. Whereas in suggesting, someone only gives an idea to the
other person.
2.3 How to make

can also use positive words such as suggest, recommend, propose, put forward,
